Paul Daugerdas commenced his professional journey as a staff member at Arthur Andersen & Co., where he progressed to the manager role and eventually became a partner in 1984. From 1974 to 1994, Daugerdas occupied various key positions, showcasing his expertise as a member of the Mergers, Acquisitions & Reorganizations Tax Specialty Team. As Head of the Central Region Financial Markets Team, he oversaw tax and audit personnel involved in financial markets encompassing commodities, futures, stocks, bonds, swaps, and various over-the-counter financial instruments and products. Additionally, he served as the Head of the Chicago Office "On Call" Team. He was a Financial Valuation Services Specialty Team member during his tenure at Arthur Andersen & Co.

In 1994, Daugerdas joined the Law Offices of Altheimer & Gray as a partner, assuming the role of Head of the Tax Department and making valuable contributions as a member of the Steering Committee. From 1999 to 2002, he served as a Shareholder/Partner at the Law Offices of Jenkens & Gilchrist, where he skillfully managed the Chicago office and co-directed the Tax Practice. Daugerdas further demonstrated his business acumen as a member of the Management Advisory Committee during his tenure at Jenkens & Gilchrist.

In 2003, Daugerdas embarked on a new endeavor as a consultant and managing director at Treasurex Financial. His expertise greatly contributed to the success of the company until 2014.
